The Heart Tree

   Once upon a time, a rich mans daughter was getting married.He decided for the wedding gift he wanted it to be something that could help them in life. He thought long and hard and finally had a decision. After the young couple got married and came back from their honeymoon, her father had two trees waiting on their door step with directions to where to plant them.

              The young couple follows the dads directions and finds a tree farm. They get there and there is a note on the door. The tree farm was the Forester Land, it was there for many years and it grew trees for all kind of projects from building houses to Christmas trees and making paper. The note addressed to the young couple went as follows, "My dear daughter and son in law, I just didn't know what to get the happy couple so I thought real hard and came up with this idea, those trees are special and I had them picked out for you and I want you to plant these trees and nurture them like your love, don't let them die and flourish like I want your love too, this tree farm is also yours I bought it for you guys to get you started on your new life."They were so excited, they planted them right next to the gate going into the farm, one on each side of the path

         Than time moved on like it does for all of us, the trees grew and grew, so did the daughter and husband. The trees talked to each other. They feel in love with one and another but longed to touch one another but was planted on each side so as time went on they stretched and stretched. The husband and wife had kids of their own, four to exact. The kids loved the farm and played around the two trees all the time, they could hear the trees creek and moan like they were in pain, but it was just them wanting to be together and stretched more and more, time kept going on and the final kid graduated and moved out. The husband and wife now don't talk a lot and fell onto hard times, but when they did talk it was fighting. The husband would stay late and drink and fall asleep at the farm, the wife would just go home and cry all night, one night she had enough and went up to the farm and started yelling at the husband. "I have had enough," she screamed,"I'm done and leaving you." She stormed out of the office. He followed after her pleading for her to stay, he grabbed her hand and spun her around right in front of the gate. He said,"Please don't leave me, I love you." She shook her head,"No you don't." She started to pull away and he grabbed her arm and cheek and said "Look into my eyes and see my love for you," She shook her head no and looked down. The moon was full and shining brightly, and there in the whole fight she noticed that they were in a shadow of the two trees they planted but the trees were connected and their shadow made a heart. The trees had stretched so far their branches were intertwined. The wife grabbed the husband and kissed him like never before. After the kiss she showed him the shadow, "Its a sign," she said, "I prayed for one and our trees have grown to love each other like we have."

              And like that their business changed and boomed, they became the Heart Tree Farm, people from miles and miles came to see them. They became a booming business again. They were selling more and more trees and also became a tourist attraction. The started selling stuff to market the trees.The became famous.The trees had postcards and magnets and other stuff, but time did move on and the couple got old and had to retire, they left the business to the kids. The kids however were worst than their parents at business, they fell in bad times and the brother took sole ownership over it. He however did get the place to flourish again but sold some of the land. he kept the land for lumber but got out of the Christmas trees. He was doing good but than came down with cancer. He fought it but lost the battle. His family had to sell the farm to another company to pay for the medical bills.

                During all this struggles the trees stayed together, they loved each other and knew their time was coming to an end. They never wanted to leave each other sides, but the company that bought the farm didn't want the farm just the land. They started seling every tree and came down to the heart trees. They decided to keep them up and use that for their bulding. They were making a shopping mall. They called the Heart Tree mall. Time went on and on for longer, the trees at first was a big draw again. But in time the company though they weren't the worth of the up keep. They finally took them down and sold them for lumber. When they took the trees down, their cries fillled the air. The company made a statue for them to show the trees.

             The trees were chopped up and made into lumber. They were sold to two different lumber mills. They were made into many different boards.The mall went out of business and a new company came in and bought the land, but they had a different plan in mind. They were building a sub divisiona nd named it the Heart Tree sub Division, the owner of the company was the great grandson of the husband and wife, he had tracked the trees down and bought every piece of lumber they had made. He also planted two trees next to the sign going into the the sub divison. He built many house but every house had to have a board from both trees and had to be next to each other. The trees were back together at last and would stay that way. Even the two trees he planted grew together and made the heart.

               In the end love did conquer all, the husband and wife fell back into love because of the Heart Trees and they lasted through it all and were separted but came back together and shared many loving moments with familys who cam and grew up in the houses and left and more familys came in and they lived side by side forever and ever.
